Presents . . .   National Tour Manager: Mark Wolfram Email: Click Here THERE SHE WENT: Marilyn Harris embarked on a 4-week, 26-state tour in support of her new Wrightwood Records CD "Future Street".   This is Marilyn's 2nd CD for Wrightwood Records, and features 12 tracks of sassy, hip words and sleek, original music featuring instrumental solos by Wayne Bergeron, Pete Christlieb, Dan Higgins, Bob Leatherbarrow, Bill Liston, Warren Luening, Andy Martin, Dave Carpenter, and a vocal duet with Mark Winkler.   Marilyn's tour follows recent appearances at New York City's BIRDLAND and Los Angeles' THE JAZZ BAKERY and CATALINA BAR & GRILL.   Ms. Harris recently moderated a jazz songwriter's panel at the 2004 IAJE Conference in NYC featuring legendary jazz songwriter Bob Dorough (who also contributed liner notes to "Future Street"). The CD is currently being promoted nationally by Groov Marketing to over 400 radio stations, in print and online ads (JazzTimes, All About Jazz, jazzreview.com, etc.), and is being distributed nationally by www.klompfoot.com.  Local CD retailers will be contacted to make sure they're stocked - and local radio stations will be asked to promote Marilyn's performances at local venues - as well as the CD itself.
